Henry Hoffman
Founder & CFO

Henry, a two tour disabled Vietnam veteran, started HMCC in 1986 after working in the field for over a decade at the time.  Since it’s inception HMCC has built in his vision of serving clients as he served his country, with courage, honesty and integrity.  A native Angeleno, nothing has brought him more pride than contributing to the growth and beautification of Southern California.  He holds a bachelor degree in construction from California State University Long Beach and finds enjoyment in passing on his knowledge to the next generation of constructors.  

Erik J. Hoffman
CEO

Erik has over 25 years in the construction and engineering field.  He has served in the United States Army from 1996 to 2004 as an enlisted member of the Army Corps of Engineers.  He has worked as an engineer and has been with Hoffman Management & Construction Corporation since 2008.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Arizona State University and a Master of Business from the University of Southern California.  Erik is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California and holds both an A and a C-9 contractors license in California.  His passion is to find innovative and collaborative methods to create beautiful structures.

Janelle Hoffman
Secretary of Corporation

Janelle has over 35 years in the construction industry. Janelle has a Bachelor in Science from California State University, Long Beach and a Masters in Business from California State, Dominguez Hills. Janelle is responsible for expediting of plans through the City of Los Angeles and all government agencies and interacting with Engineers, Architects, and government officials to obtain permits and update plan changes.  

Gabriela Fernandez
Operations Manager

Gabriela has a Bachelors in Psychology from California State University, Fullerton.  She has 18 years of experience managing teams and budgets in the private sector and in the construction industry.  She oversees the financial operations of Hoffman Management & Construction Corp and plays a key role in making strategic decisions to help projects be successful.   Gabriela takes pride in ensuring that all clients, subcontractors and vendors walk away happy with our service or partnership.  Her experience gives her an ability to oversee various departments and ensures  Hoffman Management & Construction Corp successfully operates.  Gabriela enjoys being able to undertake administrative tasks in the office, while also understanding the importance of connecting with the workers on the field.  

Joseph Yazbeck
Project Manager

Joseph has a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from McGill University, and is a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California. Joseph excels in breaking down a project into its components in order to provide an accurate and realistic budget. He also helped  adopt new technologies to HMCC such as the Trimble RTS for quality control and photography drones for tracking progress. His intersection of estimating and project management help make each project a success.

Bassil Khoury
Project Manager

Bassil has a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Concordia University and is in the process of getting his Civil Engineer’s license in the State of California. Bassil is a problem-solver and brings a thorough and in-depth approach to construction management. He excels in studying all project drawings through his own 3D modeling and working alongside the Design Team and Subcontractors to find solutions and ensure that the final construction work is of the highest quality.

Joshua Murray
Project Coordinator

Joshua has a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Florida State University. Joshua began his career working on residential housing providing soil reports and routine inspections for quality control. Since working with Hoffman Management & Construction Corp, Joshua has honed his skills in interpreting plans to accurately bid projects, working with subcontractors , and writing contracts to ensure that every project runs smoothly. With his expertise in both the technical and managerial aspects of construction, Joshua ensures that every project meets the highest standards of quality. 

Bianca Chavez
Human Resources Manager & Labor Compliance

Bianca oversees labor compliance on our prevailing wage projects and is our Human Resources Manager. Her organizational skills and attention to detail help us successfully procure projects, streamline AP and AR processes on prevailing wage projects and office procedures. Bianca is always willing to take on a new challenge and find best practices that help our internal process be more efficient.
